Celebrities feed the homeless a Thanksgiving dinner

A few celebrities took some time out of their busy schedule of being rich and famous to assist the Los Angeles homeless mission in serving an early Thanksgiving meal to the city’s homeless. Among the smug Hollywood smugs were actors Kirk Douglas, Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and Nia Long, Who the hell is Nia Long?

Wearing red aprons and plastic gloves, they stood alongside volunteers at the annual feast at downtown’s Los Angeles Mission, doling out turkey drumsticks, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, vegetables and pumpkin pie.

Actresses Nia Long and Calista Flockhart and “The Hills” reality TV star Spencer Pratt were among others passing out almost 3,000 plates of food to lines of men, women and children.

“It’s very grounding,” said Long, who dished out vegetables and rolls with her 7-year-old son. “I feel grateful for all the things I have.”

A house band pounded out music as people sipped on bright green and orange punch at rows of tables outside.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who said he has volunteered at the event for nearly a decade, said he cleaned the feet of some of the homeless.

"He washed my feet, and it was so special," Skid Row resident Yasmine Villalobos said. "I will remember it forever."

Ya, I will always remember that beautiful moment the mayor pruned my feet, buffing down my bunions and picking out the mushrooms between my toes. Vomit. Since this post is about Thanksgiving and today is Thanksgiving, I'm going to wish you all GOOD EATS and go veggie today. I'm not the most honorable person, I've actually been called the antichrist a few times in my life but I don't kill or support the slaughter of animals. Have a block of tofu, you might like it. If not, suck down a bottle of Brandy and give a your Auntie Mulva a lesson in hygiene because god damn she smells like a wet sasquatch.

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

Harrison Ford likes homeless people, especially that ripe old guy.... Oh wait, that's Kirk Douglas. My bad.
