Damn dirty Apes! -UPDATE

Charlton Heston died in his home last night in Beverly Hills at the age of 83. It may have been that damn dirty ape slut who killed him of a broken heart. That cheating bitch! Is it wrong to find humor in this post? I say No, he wanted it this way.

A family spokesman did not release the cause of death, but Heston said in 2002 that he had symptoms consistent with Alzheimer's disease. In a message at the time, he told fans, "I've lived my whole life on the stage and screen before you. I've found purpose and meaning in your response. For an actor there's no greater loss than the loss of his audience. I can part the Red Sea, but I can't part with you."

He taught us that soilent green was in fact people we were eating and an astronaut held captive by a society of intelligent gorilla rulers in which he found love. Chartlon Heston, you will be missed.

UPDATE: The Heston family released the following statement;

'Charlton Heston was seen by the world as larger than life. He was known for his chiseled jaw, broad shoulders and resonating voice, and, of course, for the roles he played. Indeed, he committed himself to every role with passion, and pursued every cause with unmatched enthusiasm and integrity.

'We knew him as an adoring husband, a kind and devoted father, and a gentle grandfather, with an infectious sense of humor. He served these far greater roles with tremendous faith, courage and dignity. He loved deeply, and he was deeply loved.

'No one could ask for a fuller life than his. No man could have given more to his family, to his profession, and to his country. In his own words: "I have lived such a wonderful life! I've lived enough for two people.'"
