Hayden Panettiere is totaly secure with herself and her sexuality when people point the gay finger at her she just shruds away in all coolness. I like her, she's got spunk. Spunk? Ill, I mean in a good way... oh never mind your heads already in the gutter.

The 18-year-old — who plays indestructible Claire Bennet in the BBC2 sci-fi hit — has been dogged by rumours she is a lesbian.

She said: “That’s fine with me. If I’m going to be linked with someone, I could do an affair with ANGELINA JOLIE, JESSICA ALBA or CHARLIZE THERON.

“And KATE BECKINSALE is gorgeous. There are so many beautiful girls.”

Hayden also said she is "rooting for" troubled singer Britney Spears, because she was her "idol" when she was growing up.

She told America's GQ magazine: "That girl was the epitome of beauty when I was younger. And we built her up and just ripped her down, put every aspect of her life under a microscope - we probably made 90 per cent of the stuff up along the way.

"I can't even imagine if my life was like hers. She's someone that I'm rooting for, and I hope she can make that comeback, definitely."

People are so quick to jump on the finger pointing and exposing ones personal lifestyle. Aren't we able to comment on ones physical appearance without being labeled as something?
