Kanye West arrested at LAX - Update

Kanye West and one member of his elite entourage was arrested today at LAX for vandalism and battery.  Kanye may have a felony vandalism charge and is being held on $20,000 bail. His entourage fella was arrested and chanrged for battery.

ET has confirmed that Kanye and a member of his entourage were arrested at LAX at 7:51am on charges of vandalism.

Initial reports indicate it involves a paparazzi and his video camera that is reportedly worth more than $10,000.

 

UPDATE: In addition to the vandalism allegation, authorities initially said they had arrested Crawley (road manager) on suspicion of battery but said later that a preliminary investigation determined no battery had occurred.

"There's no battery. We have a property crime, that's it," said Sgt. Jim Holcomb of the Los Angeles Airport Police.

It was between a TMZ camera man, a still photographer, Kanye and his road manager Don Crawley. You can see the video here.

Don't worry, it's totally lame and blown out of proportion.

UPDATED UPDATE - Kanye posted bail 4 hours after the scuffle and is a free man once again

No action, no music... just Kanye.
