Nick Hogan In Jail For Car Crash Last August

Nick Hogan puts a friend in a coma, gets a slap on the wrist

Nick Bollea (Hogan) finally figured out that he took his friend's life away by turning him into a vegetable in that car accident way back in August. Nick, by the way, walked away from that crash with minor injuries, is stupid a minor injury? Getting to the point, he turned himself in to the Pinellas County Jail for reckless driving and will be charged with use of a vehicle in commission of a felony, being a minor with a 0.2 BAC and illegal window tint. BA-ZING!

Nick and the entire ‘Hogan’ Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed in regards to the tragic single car accident on August 26, 2007. Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena - a court of law. The family’s primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick’s longtime friend John Graziano. The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can.

The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt.

There has been much speculation as to the speed and wet road conditions surrounding this accident. Although all the evidence has not been evaluated, preliminary reports from the experts indicate that this was not, in fact, a high-speed accident.

For your information, the boy that's in a coma is a soldier from Iraq. Not that I'm patriotic or anything but what a huge bummer. He's dodged bombs, bullets and crazy Iraqi people from the war and then makes a poor decision by getting into a car with his buddy which lands himself hospitalized. I bet you when he gets out of that hospital bed, he's gonna give Nick the ol' stab in the face with a knife. Knife? Is that all I can think of? Geez, I need a beer.
