Patrick Swayze Responding Well To Cancer Treatment

Not even cancer can stop Swayze

Patrick Swayze has been taking time off from his busy schedule to enjoy a Lakers game (pictured above) and to let the public know his body is adjusting well to treatment. Good, no pancreatic cancer will defeat my Patrick Swayze.

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE readers, Swayze says:

"Thought I'd give you guys a little update. Lisa and I have been back and forth from New Mexico enjoying the arrival of spring and new baby calves. This past weekend, we spent a fun time with friends in Reno for Lisa's birthday, where I took her jewelry shopping at Kenny G & Company and (we) were able to find her something really special and much deserved! In the meantime, I am continuing treatment at Stanford and the great news is I continue to respond well."

I'm glad Patrick is doing well, any man that can do the split is on my top list of awesomeness. Except Jean Claude Van Damme. I hate that commy bastard. He can get one of those giant 20 lb tumors on his ball sack for all I care.
